Regional Foodservice Sales Manager

Location: Texas | Shift: Days | Status: Exempt | Job ID: 20082

Essential Job Functions

1. Will manage broker activities, including broker plans, training, and account calls.
2. Trade activities to include selling regional chains, managing current top 20 customers and selling to K-12 and C-Store accounts.
3. Manage and establish sales strategies within budgets with key distributors and service delis.
4. Achieve budget volume for the Region which will include all brokers, markets and primary distributors.
5. Administrative responsibilities which will involve ensure paperwork is processed, effectively manage deductions and general paperwork, business analysis and create and come up with new ideas.

Requirements

1. BS in Business or Marketing and or 10 plus years of experience in Foodservice sales in K-12 and C-Stores, including broker management, distributor program negotiations and major account sales that will contribute to creative ideas as to how to improve distributor programs, maximize trade spending, sell regional chain accounts, track sales call reporting, implement broker management policies and incentives
2. Must reside in Texas to be able to support the territory which will include Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma
3. Aggressive selling skills with the ability to target major accounts, create strategies and close the sale
4. Must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a team player
5. Ability to independently develop strategic sales plans, proposals, present ideas and execute action plans
6. Highly motivated self-starter with desire to grow and develop skills
7. Intermediate or higher level of Microsoft computer skills with ability to create effective proposals, broker plans and distributor partner presentations
8. Demonstrate problem solving skills and sound judgment and have ability to train broker and distributor personnel
9. Must be able to travel and work outside of the office, in the trade, 60 percent some weekend travel and will participate in Food Shows
10. Must have and maintain current State driver’s license and acceptable DMV printout.
