IMPORTANT NOTICE TO YELLOW SHEET SUBSCRIBERS

Toms River, NJ 05/13/03 — In response to customer requests, and in keeping with our commitment to provide the most meaningful market information available, the staff at Urner Barry's Yellow Sheet is considering making the following changes to the existing Pork Report.

Select Hams 17/20, Select Hams 20/23, and Select Hams 23/27 will no longer be adjusted to a non-value added base price.  Instead, these items will be quoted FOB Midwest River area.  No date has been chosen for this change; rather the purpose of this notice is to serve as a forum for discussion.  Questions and/or comments are encouraged and can be directed to Jim Kenny, jkenny@urnerbarry.com or Gary Morrison, gmorrison@urnerbarry.com by e-mail or at 732-240-5330.
