Urner Barry Publications, Inc. Announces Executive Promotions

Bayville, N.J. - Urner Barry Publications, Inc. is pleased to announce several changes to their executive team. The promotions of several company veterans were first announced at Urner Barry's Executive Conference and Marketing Seminar 2004 on April 26, 2004.

Randy Pesciotta has been promoted to Vice President, Egg Division. Randy's primary responsibilities are the reporting of the egg and dairy markets which he has done since his career began in 1985. He also assists is the sales of job printing at Urner Barry.

Joe Soja has been promoted to Vice President, Seafood Division. Joe joined Urner Barry in 1986 and one year later started quoting the salmon market. Mr. Soja is still focused on the expansion of the information content for Urner Barry to meet the needs of the growing industry. He also holds the title Editor for all of Urner Barry's Business Directories. 

Urner Barry has also appointed Russ Whitman as Vice President, Poultry Division. Mr. Whitman joined Urner Barry in 1987 and was initially involved with COMTELL® sales and support. Since 1989, Russell has reported the turkey market and mechanically separated poultry markets. In addition, Mr. Whitman is the Editor of several Urner Barry newsletters. 

Joseph Muldowney has been appointed as Vice President, Red Meat Division. In 1989, Mr. Muldowney joined Urner Barry as a Sales Representative for their instant market news services. He later became Sales Manager of that division. Joe was a key member of the company during the acquisition of the "Yellow Sheet" in 1992 and since 1995 has held the title of Editor.
