Executive Conference
Since 1976, Urner Barry management has hosted fast-paced professional conferences for invited executives in the poultry, egg, beef, pork and seafood industries. Topics are generally organized around a marketing theme of industry importance in the form of discussion panels.
A wide variety of personalities have been conference speakers. They included well-known authors, sports figures, university professors, agricultural and marketing specialists, television commentators and national political figures such as Senator Jesse Helms of North Carolina, Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont, Senator Thomas Harkin of Iowa, Secretary of State Alexander Haig, Empower America co-founder Jack Kemp, Vice President Dan Quayle, NJ Senator Bill Bradley and political strategists Mary Matalin and James Carville.
