SQSA is a consultancy, established in 2011, focusing on regulatory compliance, seafood safety, quality assurance, and third party certification standards.
Corey L. Norton recently left his law practice as an international trade attorney to become Thai Union’s Group Counsel for Responsible Sourcing. He is part of the Thai Union Sustainability Team and has global responsibility for complying with import laws regarding forced labor, IUU/SIMP and embargos, among other areas.
Michael Lieberman is a long-standing member of the National Fisheries Institute and has dedicated his career as an insurance broker to the unique needs of the seafood industry. He assists his clients with comprehensive risk identification, quantification, and treatment.
Jonathan Lieberman is a licensed customs broker and the director of operations for New York Customs Brokers, headquartered in New York City. Jonathan has worked for New York Customs Brokers since 2012 with a particular focus in seafood customs regulations. In 2015 Jonathan became a fully licensed customs broker and is fluent in the latest policies and regulations set in place by CBP, FDA, USDA/FSIS, FWS, and NOAA/NMFS. Jonathan is a graduate of the 2015 class of the National Fisheries Institute’s Future Leaders Program. Jonathan graduated in 2010 from the University of Buffalo with a degree in Communications Design.
